TXADONA CHAPTER NADONA/LTC 2025 CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

As outlined in the TXADONA of NADONA/LTC by laws, elections are held every two years for officers in the association.  In 2025, the offices of Vice President and Secretary are up for election.

If you are interested in one of these offices, be advised that participation on the state board requires time, effort, dedication, commitment and the ability and permission to travel to meetings.  Therefore, facility support is very important.

Any TXADONA member may nominate a candidate as long as the candidate consents to the nomination, or a candidate may self-nominate.  All nominations must be made on the attached Candidate Nomination Form.  Please ensure that each candidate meets the qualifications before making any nomination.

Nomination Qualifications:

  1. Each candidate for any office must be an Active Member of TXADONA on the date of the nomination and must maintain active membership through the date of the election and the term of any office to which the candidate is elected.

  2. The Candidate Nomination Form must be submitted for each candidate, including any incumbent Board member or officer.  Each candidate must sign the Candidate Nomination Form.

The candidate will be confirmed with both the National and State levels to verify they have maintained concurrent membership and remain a member in good standing.

  7. Active retired members are eligible to run for office.

Completed nomination forms must be submitted by February 21, 2025.  Forms received after that time will not be considered.  No exceptions to this policy will be made.
